About Us

Here’s what searching for a therapist usually gets you: a directory of names, most without a website, and a string of voicemail boxes that may or may not get checked. Somewhere between the third call and the fourth, a lot of people quietly give up. Pacific Mental Health Partners exists because that part, the part before therapy even starts, is where care most often fails.

We’re a coastal group practice in Naples, Long Beach, led by Dr. Heather Jensen, a PhD clinical psychologist with twenty years in the field. She founded PMHP on a stubborn idea: that real clinical depth and a warm welcome shouldn’t be a trade-off.

So she built a team of therapists who do excellent work and call you back, and made getting started simple: one message, a reply from a real person within a business day or two, and a free 15-minute call before you commit to anything.

You don’t have to be at your lowest to deserve a good therapist.

Most people who walk in here are holding life together fine. They’re just tired of doing it alone, and that’s reason enough.

Our Approach

Our work is rooted in a simple belief: lasting change comes from tending to all of you.

Integrative

Healing looks different for everyone. We draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, EMDR, narrative and psychodynamic work, and build an approach that is uniquely yours.

Warm + Grounded

Serious clinical depth doesn’t have to feel clinical. We’re direct when it helps and gentle when it counts, so the room feels safe enough for the real conversation.

Whole-Person

We pay attention to what’s working in your life along with what hurts. The goal is a life you actually like living.

What we promise, and keep

Six values
A warm front door

Call, write, or send the form. A real person reads it and replies within a business day or two. Nobody gets left on read.

All of you is welcome

Sessions cover what’s going well along with what hurts, because both are part of the picture. We treat people, never case files.

Your insurance works here

In-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, and Carelon. We verify your benefits before your first visit.

Brave, not broken

Coming to therapy doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It means you decided to do something, and we work with you from that footing.

The newcomer matters most

Your first contact gets our best attention: a free 15-minute call, your questions answered, and a therapist suggested before you commit to anything.

Aim past “coping”

Getting through the worst of it is the start. The work continues toward steadier moods, better relationships, and a life with more room in it.
