Anxiety Therapy
Constant Worry. Overthinking. Panic. Social Anxiety. Health Anxiety. Sleep.
Anxiety is a good alarm system stuck in the on position. Therapy retrains it: practical tools for the spin you’re in this week, and steadier ground underneath so the alarm quiets for good.
We work with generalized worry, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, and the kind that only shows up at 3am. In our Long Beach office or online across California.

Who it’s for
People who are managing on the outside and spinning on the inside: the overthinker, the over-preparer, the one everyone else calls calm. Also panic that arrives out of nowhere, dread around social situations, and worry that has attached itself to health, work, or the people you love.
How it works
There’s more than one road in, and we match the approach to your anxiety, not the other way around. That might be CBT for the thought-and-avoidance loop, DBT skills for the physical surge, EMDR or trauma work when the alarm was set by something that happened, or slower depth work on where it learned to fire. Many people feel a difference within the first several weeks.
Common questions
How do I know if my anxiety is "bad enough" for therapy?
If worry is eating into sleep, focus, decisions, or enjoying things, that’s enough. You don’t need a diagnosis to book, and the free 15-minute call is a low-stakes way to find out what we’d suggest.
What kind of therapy works best for anxiety?
It depends on what’s driving yours. CBT has strong research support for the worry loop itself; EMDR and trauma-informed work fit when the anxiety traces back to something that happened; DBT skills help with the physical surge; depth work helps when the pattern is old. Choosing is our job. That’s what the first call is for.
Can you prescribe medication?
No. Our clinicians are therapists, not prescribers. If medication is part of your picture, or you want to explore it, we coordinate with your physician or psychiatrist so the two halves of your care talk to each other.
Is anxiety therapy covered by insurance?
For most plans we accept, yes. Anxiety is one of the most commonly covered reasons for therapy. We check your specific benefits before your first session.
Does anxiety therapy work over video?
Yes. The tools transfer well to telehealth, and some people practice them better from home, where the worry actually lives. We see clients online across California.
