You don't have to be at your lowest to start therapy

Most people who walk in here are functioning fine, just tired of carrying something alone. On starting therapy before things fall apart.

Getting startedWhole person

There's a quiet myth that therapy is for emergencies, that you earn a good therapist by hitting some low point first. It isn't true, and it keeps a lot of people waiting far longer than they need to.

Functioning fine, and still tired

Most people who walk into our practice are functioning fine. They're holding down work, relationships, the daily list. They're just tired of carrying something alone: a worry that won't quit, a pattern that keeps repeating, a grief that hasn't had anywhere to go.

That counts, and you don't have to be falling apart to deserve support.

What therapy is for

We think of therapy as a way to live better. Sometimes that means working through something painful, and just as often it means building toward something: more steadiness, better relationships, a clearer sense of yourself.

Starting is the hard part

The first message is the hardest one, so we try to make it easy: a real person gets back to you, we talk through insurance, and we take it from there at whatever pace suits you.

The door is open whenever you're ready.
