Supportive / Integrative Therapy

Life Transitions. Stress. Grief. Self-Worth. Burnout. Feeling Stuck.

Not every season calls for a manual. Supportive therapy is a steady, nonjudgmental space to think out loud, feel heard, and get your footing again.

We stay integrative. If a skill from CBT would help, we use it. If what you mostly need is room to think out loud, that’s the session.

Who it’s for

Anyone moving through a hard season, grief, burnout, a big transition, or a stretch of feeling stuck, who mostly needs a thoughtful, steady presence through it.

How it works

We follow what matters most to you, drawing from whatever methods fit, and keep the work paced to your life. Sometimes that’s skills, and sometimes it’s simply being heard well.

Common questions

What does "integrative" mean?

It means we’re not locked into one method. We blend approaches and adjust as you change, so the therapy keeps fitting you.

How is this different from talking to a friend?

A friend has a stake in your story and a turn to take in the conversation. A therapist has training, confidentiality, and one job: your side of things. That difference changes what gets said out loud.

How often would I come?

Most people start weekly. Sessions run 50 minutes, in our Naples office or by video across California, and the rhythm usually stretches out as things get steadier.

Is it worth coming in if nothing is "wrong"?

Yes. A hard season doesn’t need a diagnosis to be worth support, and grief, burnout, and big transitions respond to good help. You don’t have to be at your lowest to deserve a good therapist.
